I was looking for window shades that were easy to put on only when I needed them, and these have been a practical choice. The universal size fit my car's windows reasonably well, and the magnets kept everything securely in place while the car was parked. I mainly use them when camping in my car because they add a nice level of privacy and help make the back seat feel more like a comfortable sleeping space. They also do a good job of reducing glare and blocking the sun, which helps keep the interior cooler during the day and more comfortable when relaxing. The material feels durable and has held up well after repeated use and folding. As long as you confirm your vehicle has compatible metal window frames and measure your windows beforehand, these shades are a useful option for added shade, privacy, and comfort.

I got these car window sunshades for my 2003 Camry. They came rolled up in plastic wrap, and after unpacking, they retained the shape they were designed to have.They are made of thin, foldable fabric, but I wouldn't call them flimsy.Installation in my car was easy because the door frames have the necessary metal surfaces for the magnets to attach to. After the initial alignment, it's quite simple to pull one side of the magnetic section and let the magnets slide along the metal to open the shades, then push them back to fold the shades closed. For a neat "VIP" look, the shades feature little magnet strips in the middle when not in use. They can also attach to a vertical metal surface to minimize the gap and hold them in place while the vehicle is in motion. The magnets are strong enough to keep the shades securely attached to the metal.Fitment on my car is good for the rear windows. As expected, the longer, curved front windows have a small uncovered area.I do have tinted windows, so a photo taken from outside wouldn't be very insightful.All in all, I think these are a decent option for adding some privacy and sun protection. The asking price seems reasonable to me.

This is a great shade! Slim/easily folded and a perfect fit for my Mazda CX5. It keeps my car much cooler than the last bulky one I had- which didn’t even cover the entire windshield. This provides full coverage and makes me feel like my car is more secure. However, I’m giving this 4 stars. After having it about six months, the Velcro has ripped off about halfway from the side which it fastens to, making a loop around the rearview mirror. Considering the low cost I will like buy again. Just curious if there’s an easy fix, because otherwise it’s in GREAT shape!!

Fits 2021 Mazda CX-5 without gaps. Easy on and off and folds back into the included storage pouch without an issue. It helps with temperature control, and after 6 months of use, still looks new.

These were a game changer for me. They are slightly bigger than my Hyundai accent windows but they still cover the whole thing. The magnets are not too weak and not very strong but they never fall off the window. Unless you are leaning on them and accidentally tug off a side, they stay on the whole time. They are quick and easy to put up too. They are dark enough to keep the sun out as well. It may also help with keeping the car slightly cooler, it functions like thin blackout curtains so not as effective as blackout curtains but they do something lol.I’m happy with them.

Fits my 2021 Toyota Camry’s windshield completely. Material is sturdy but easy to fold and store. The bag that’s used to store it can also be used as a steering wheel cover if need be. Protects the dash completely and is thick with multiple layers.10/10 Would highly recommend and will be purchasing for other vehicles.

Product I received looks and feels very well made, very soft to touch and easy to fold together and clip. I have them on my front side windows but not for use during driving of course. There is a bit of a gap at the bottom but thats bc how my vehicle door is designed, I imagine its not like that for all vehicles. I forgot to take pics during night but the end of my video is at night. Im going to update this review with night pics and more info as I use them.I included a picture while driving with the passenger side shade up. You can see the sun coming in on that side and the length of this shade is perfect for me to keep the sun out AND still be able to see my side mirror! LOVE IT!So far I recommend them!

I do a fair bit of traveling with a band on the weekends. Some of the drives are up to 5 hours away, and we get a generous amount for finding hotel rooms, Airbnb's, whatever. I've done the Airbnb's, which can be fine, but there's still a really weird being-in-someone-else's house feeling that lingers. I'm outgoing, but sometimes I want absolute peace. No matter how comfortable they make it, there is still a sense of trespassing or something. Plus, I can get in quite late even without the drive to find something reasonable. Hotels, I'm not a fan of, they are more costly and can be hit or miss with cleanliness. I did a ton of work travel with my old job and practical lived out of suitcases for sometimes 30 days in a row in hotels, I'm over it. Plus, getting into some of these options at the hour that I do can be problematic in different ways (dirty hotel room, missing towels, pictures of accommodations are incorrect, noises, etc.).So, one of bandmates told me about car camping. I love camping in general, so this seemed like an interesting idea and one that I could get into. I decided up upgrade some things (much thicker air/comfort foam air mattress, more pillows [I like a lot of pillows!]) and purchase more things to make my new adventure more comfortable (blackout curtains, windshield cover). I do drive a 2017 Toyota Prius, so I could put on climate control and run heat or AC all night long (which works super, super well!). I did A LOT of research into my new items, I didn't want to keep reinvesting. One and done. I actually though about creating my own blackout covers as there are a few tutorials online, but that meant I'd have to have a few large pieces of something to carry around and mess with. A set of folding pleated curtains just seemed way more manageable. I ordered these, not even sure if the part of my car door needed to attach the curtains were magnetic (it is, 100%).I reserved my first spot at a campground in a tent area (as I MUST take a shower before I sleep). I arrived at night, pitch black, and had zero issues with getting the curtains in place even though I didn't even take them out of the bag until then. The magnets are really strong, not like some weak fridge magnet. They covered a very large portion of the window. I'm a light sleeper, light affects me but these cover enough to do the job. They even snap together. I slept like a baby this first tryout so there was definitely some success. It kept the car nice and cool, and helped maintain a good temperature (parking in the shade helps). I can slowly slide the curtains along the magnetic part of the door, as, like I stated, the magnets are quite strong.I've since in all done 4 post-gig car camping trips. One of them I didn't know that I had to get to park prior to 10 PM and at almost 2:30 in the morning (3-hour drive home) found a truck stop where I could shower and crash. I was warned (and didn't listen) to not park in the darkest spot of the truck stop, and thankfully, these gave me completely privacy of all the super sketchy trash that was happening all around me. The pictures shown are done really quick at my last camping adventure. Total success there. I have complete faith in this product. It does what it boasts, covers a great deal of light for me, and is of a very outstanding build quality. I recommend this for my fellow car campers!! 10/10

There are quite a lot of generic sunshades available for sale, however, I wanted one specifically made for the Mazda CX-5. This KUST shade fits our recently-purchased 2019 CX-5 like a glove (the 2019 model is identical to the 2017-2023 CX-5s so this sunshade will fit all of those years models perfectly). The cut out for the rearview mirror has a Velcro fastener to help secure the top of the shade to the windshield but really your driver side and passenger side sun visors do the lion's share of the work pinning the top of the sunshade to the windshield glass. The periphery of the KUST sunshade has a little extra material so that you can pretty much get a total blackout of sunlight hitting the windshield.So, functionally, this is an excellent sunshade that does exactly what it is designed to do and is specifically made for post-2016 Mazda CX-5s. The downsides are relatively minor:(1) Folding the shade back down to its very small package size is a challenge. You first fold it in half and then attempt to do a figure-eight twisty motion to get it to one-quarter of the full size. I watched the video showing how to do this several times and did manage to do it but it's not at all simple or easy to do (not for me anyway). I docked one review star for this;(2) This "twisty shrink" design appears to be fairly common with sunshades available here on Amazon and most of them have an attached elastic loop that you can use to secure the shade in its folded mini size. This KUST shade does not have one of these elastic loops so, when you manage to get it down to its compact size, you must place it within the included case to prevent it from springing open again. The missing elastic loop is an odd omission and requires you to have that carrying case readily available; and(3) This isn't so much a criticism of this unit in particular as it is of this type of sunshade design in general and that is how relatively clumsy they are to install. You're not going to easily unfold this shade inside the car and place it into the windshield area. If it's just a bit windy outside, unfolding it there before sliding it inside is tricky because when open, this thing is essentially a sail that will easily catch the wind (so be careful). I'm sure that, with a bit of practice, installing this sunshade will become a little easier.These three criticisms notwithstanding, if you have a post-2016 Mazda CX-5 and want a sunshade that is perfectly sized for your vehicle, this is a great choice. Of my three criticisms, the first and third are going to be issues with all of the sunshades that are similarly designed (twist-to-shrink) and many of them are generically sized so you'll likely have a lot of excess material hanging about the interior of your vehicle. If you want something that will protect the interior of your CX-5 from heat and light and looks tailor-made for your vehicle, this KUST sunshade is a great choice.
